Natural Magnesium Flakes

Natural Magnesium Flakes

Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems that regulate diverse biochemical reactions in the body, including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation. Magnesium is required for energy production, oxidative phosphorylation, and glycolysis. It contributes to the structural development of bone and is required for the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and the antioxidant glutathione. Magnesium also plays a role in the active transport of calcium and potassium ions across cell membranes, a process that is important to nerve impulse conduction, muscle contraction, and normal heart rhythm (1-1).

Info and Directions: Magnesium flakes are dry flakes of magnesium chloride hexadyrate and other essential macro and trace minerals, in an effective and relaxing form for use in baths, foot soaks, and scrubs. The magnesium flakes are harvested out of the Great Salt Lake in Utah and have been thoroughly inspected for quality and imperfections. How to use these magnesium flakes? For therapeutic use, dissolve 1 to 3 cups of magnesium flakes in full bath tub or foot bath and soak for 30 minutes or more. Temperature of the water should be warm (not hot). Following the bath, rinse skin with cool running water, then pat skin dry with a towel and apply a natural moisturizer. Note: Because these magnesium flakes are natural, you may see small amounts of mineral enriched sediment after dissolving.
